- GHS New Science Wing Renovations
- Riverfront Park
- Police Communication System
- Nayaug Elementary School
Improved the Quality of Life for all of our residents
- Formally protected the Addison Bog and Woodlands
- Acquired over 400 acres of land for open space, recreation and municipal needs
- Approved the Bicycle Path Master Plan and initiated funding applications
- Improved the Elderly tax relief Program
- Initiated the resurfacing of the GHS track and installation of synthetic turf on the football field
- Allocated funds for improved access to town owned property

Implemented Energy Saving Strategies and Clean energy Initiatives
- Collectively purchased natural gas and electricity to obtain best price
- Enrolled in the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund 20% by 2010
- Purchased hybrid vehicles for town use
- Implemented use of bio diesel
- Installed Energy Management Systems and received significant rebates for meeting efficiency and conservation goals in new buildings
Approved Appropriate Economic Development generating tax dollars
- 75,000 square Class A medical office buildings near completion in former gateway complex
- Approved additional 40,000 square feet of medical office buildings
- Completed Homewood Suites
- Completed 124 Hebron Ave providing new opportunities in our down town
